Galatians 3:13

Foundational Thought #1:
Faith is the result of being redemption minded

1. You can't see your redemption in Christ and be unhappy at the same time.

2. Joy comes rushing into one’s spirit.

3. All unhappiness vanishes

4. When Faith comes you rejoice in the WORD

John 1:14
King James Version
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Word was with God (…and the Word was God, John 1:1b). God became flesh and dwelt among us.

2 Corinthians 5:19
King James Version
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Foundational Thought #2:
We are reconciled to God.

1. There are no barriers between God and man.

2. Jesus has qualified as your savior, healer, and provider.

2 Corinthians 4:13

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Our response is to speak what we believe in light of our redemption

• We believe we are redeemed from the curse and all of its effects on mankind.

• We believe Jesus has fully paid the ransom price.

• We believe Jesus alone is qualified to save heal and prosper us.

Our response is thank you, I receive what you have provided:

• We don't try to believe. We have been convinced of our redemption and speak it.

2 Corinthians 8:9

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Romans 8:2
King James Version
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Foundational Thought #3:
It’s God’s desire to get the blessing over to us.

1. Sin and sickness were placed on Jesus (He died with them and rose again without them).

2. Sin and sickness passed from us to Jesus at Calvary

3. Salvation and all that is comprised in it (healing, prosperity) passed from Jesus to us at the resurrection.

When we see this fact of redemption, faith comes and we rejoice in what Jesus accomplished for us and receive from him. People will fear His power until they know who God is.

1 John 4:8

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Foundational Thought #4:
God’s love has great desire toward all people

1. The understanding of this truth is the means whereby faith comes to the believer.

Romans 1:16
King James Version
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The good news of what Jesus has purchased and accomplished for us is the source of faith.

• Any promise produces its own faith.

• Any true promise contains the power of fulfillment.

• The promise of God produces faith (faith comes by hearing the promise).

• Producing faith is the purpose of the promise of God.

• Joy is produced because we accept the promise as the answer before we see it with our natural senses.

• The 3,827 promises in scripture give us a reason to have faith in God

• We can't doubt when we hear what God has done for us through Christ Jesus.

Foundational Thought #5:
Faith is perfectly reasonable when we know the facts of our redemption.

Ephesians 1:7
